We are grateful to the many people who's support makes our practice possible, and welcome your support and encouragement. The Oakland Zen Center Kojin An Zendo is a 501(c)3 nonprofit 'Church'. We continuously rely on the generosity of our founders, donors, and volunteers to create programs, maintain facilities, and to support our teachers. We do not require membership dues, but we encourage generosity in sustaining the dharma and sangha in whatever way is consistent with your ability. Consider an on-line donation today...
Services & Offerings
The resident ministers at Oakland Zen Center are available to perform various Zen Buddhist ceremonies and services. Private ceremonies with fewer than 20 guests can be arranged in the small but elegant Zendo in Rrockridge. We are delighted to help with ceremonies and events off-site as well.
